Wolfworks Design/Build system is delivered by a staff of professionals from our Avon office, our Hartford shop, and your job site. Each member of our staff handles and coordinates distinct phases of this process. Together, our efforts assure that every aspect of a project receives the attention required to achieve success.

Jamie Wolf - Design Evangelist

Wolfworks is, of course, Jamie's company and grew out of his years of experience designing and building projects in Greater Hartford and the Farmington Valley. Jamie is a tireless advocate of the value of Design. That work begins by gaining an understanding of a client's needs and communicating how the design/build process works. Working with our estimator they produce a "reality check" budget to focus design efforts within a budget range that the client agrees is comfortable. From this foundation design work proceeds toward a buildable project. Jamie is noted for his imaginative approach to both technical and aesthetic design challenges. His design work is inspired by an understanding of the client's taste, a careful examination of their needs, and the precedents set by an existing home and its site. Throughout a project Jamie works to assure that everyone's expectations are communicated clearly and ultimately met.

Robert Parker - Bookeeping and Office Systems

Robert doesn't just like to see a system work smoothly, he aims to make it "squeaky clean". We love that! Robert manages our bookeeping and oversees the smooth flow of all the information that gets managed behind the scenes. Its a pleasure to know those gears will be kept turning smoothly. You can be sure he'll know the status of every payment made by you while keeping track of every expense that goes into your project for us. In a company of designers and craftsmen his skills are a welcome asset!

Scott Green

Scott has been working at Wolfworks since 1990 and over that period he has become an ace cabinetmaker and project manager. Leave it to Scott to keep a project moving while seeing that every detail is carefully crafted. In the shop Scott is adept at producing any detail that we might design. Every project he attends to is produced with attention and care.

Matt Zordan

Matt is an aspiring craftsman and dedicated member of our construction team. His interest in the craft of carpentry has found a perfect fit in a company that strives to practice that art daily. He is always working to understand how all the pieces will fit, then applying himself to the process of assembly with skilled hands and an eagle eye. His insatiable curiousity about all aspects of building make him a quick learner and an able partner. His effort is an asset to every project he participates in.

Karen Hartford - Operations & Care

Karen is our air traffic controller and central communicator. She cares for each client throughout the process. She guides the product selection process and assembles all the information we'll need to complete your project, not just product pricing and specifications but equally important installation manuals and delivery dates. As we work she monitors all aspects of both design and construction project progress and keeps everyone coordinated. She keeps an attentive ear to each client's special needs, keeping them focused on product selections and aware of project progress. She serves everyone in the field making important phone calls that would otherwise interrupt their day. She makes certain that our subs and suppliers are aware of scheduling deadlines and important information requests. In short, she keeps things moving and makes sure everyone is informed. Her work is essential!

Mike Statchen - Production Manager

Mike's job is to see that your project gets built the way it was designed for you by coordinating the team that delivers that service. With years of construction experience he has an acute sense of what it takes to complete a successful project. His project management skills allow us to manage multiple jobs as well as complete projects of considerable size and scope. His experience and attention to detail assure accurate estimating in our budget process. His eye is always seeking the practical solution and anticipating the next step in the process - from beginning to end.

Kevin Zabel

Kevin gives every client that tender loving care that has them all hating to see him leave. His years of experience in remodeling means that he always knows what to plan for next and just how to keep his projects on track. He gives equal attention to the client and the project's needs. And he does it all while practicing the highest in carpentry craft.
